After turning some leftover bait into crab by using it in my crab pots, I found myself with a dozen crabs...
Here is a great tasty way to enjoy them...
Ingredients:
1 doz blue claw crab
old bay
onion powder
garlic powder
herbs of your choice
sat & pepper to taste
olive oil
butter
First I boiled the crab in seasoned water as usual (about 40 minutes-season with salt, pepper, old bay, bay leaf, onion powder, garlic powder and some
fresh herbs)
Then, cleaned and halved the crabs and placing them in a bowl.
In a deep frying pan and put in around 3 tablespoons of olive oil and another 3 tablespoons of butter and brought this to frying temp.
Meanwhile cover the crabs with a generous amount of old bay seasoning, garlic powder and some pepper.
Add some fresh garlic then dumped in the crab and covered them. Allowed this to cook for around 15 minuted on medium heat stirring and tossing
occasionally to prevent burning.
This will make anyone smile!
