Date: Saturday July 2, 2003 Fish: Fluke
#: 9 Fluke and a few porgies & seabass Largest: 20"
Location: South of the Pink Hotel
Crew: Dom & his brother Dr. Joe
The 5th trip of the year for the Megabyte and finally, I was able to get my buddy from Highschool out on the water along with his brother Joe a doctor. We left it up to Dr. Joe and he wanted Fluke. But, there was NO wind in the morning. So, we took advantage of the still conditions and drifted over some structure around bouy 4 for a while and cought dozens of seabass. All small. We managed a few keepers and a few HUGE porgies then the wind started to kick up from the south so we made the switch. By the end of the day, we were using 8 ounce sinkers but we left them biting. Biting bigtime but it was late and Joe had to get back. A great day to be out on the water fishing with good friends.
