Date: Saturday May 29, 2004 Fish: Striped Bass
#: 10 Largest: 30"
Location: Riese Park
Crew: Alan (windiz) Dom & Joe (Dom's brother)
Dispite NOAA's report, the wind blew 25+ out of the north. We were 1 mile off the beach and we were getting hit with sand! Still, dispite the tough conditions, we managed a few stripers. We were actually having a tough time of it. We followed 2 clam boats and saw nothing too promising. Then, further West we saw a boat at anchor with chum bailing stripers. We set up a bit awy from him, but this guy commanded the school with his chum. In 2 hours our chum was dry and we had not a touch. So back to drifting then a call from our buddy Brandon (benny bananas on the forum) and he put us into a body of fish further to the east. We managed a decent catch after all. Dom has a rotator thing injury, so every fish he hooked his brother Joe had to land for him. Poor Joe...
