Once again, the best days for fishing are yesterday & tomorrow. All indications were for a great day bottom fishing. With winds blowing under 5 knots, easy drifting was the order for the day. We met up with the White Rose and decided the MEGABYTE would head west to where we had the fish the week before. The WHITE ROSE would head east to the AB reef. As Bob & I began fishing we began hitting real tiny fish. Many under 5 inches! Both bass and porgies were plentiful but small. A quick call to the WHITEROSE and they were into good fish so we picked up and headed east. As we got there we got the news the fish had turned off. The WHITEROSE had almost 20 decent fish and we had not yet had our first. We worked the reef and found a few spots as Tommy ran to check out the Iberia. Bob & I managed a few fish then decided as the wind picked up to try for fluke. We had 2 keepers in 2 drifts. I have to say that despite the lack of fish in the cooler, it was a magnificent day on the water. Constant action, great weather & great friendship.
