Allan (AKA Windiz), Michael (Allan's son), Bob (AKA The Duke of Puke), & myself went out today in search of anything that would bite.
We landed on some working terns and took over 22 2 to 5 pound Bluefish. Keps most of them for shark bait (5 for eating). Then on to Stripers.
It was rather quiet out there but we managed 8 stripers in 5 hours (score 3 for the captain), 3 keepers (one we threw back anyway cause it was
just over 28") then a few drifts randomly at the rockaway reef produced around a dozen nice seabass.
